Frequently asked questions
All pieces are made with organic hemp and or organic cotton blends. All fabric is GOTS certified organic and or EOKO-TEX certified and we can happily provide certifications from our manufacturers. We strive to use high quality and consciously crafted fabrics that follow fair labor laws. Our blends will be described in detail in each product post including where on the garment the specific type of fabric is used. The stretch blends that we use include 5% spandex and will be specified in each product post. We use a variety of fabrics including but not limited to jersey, stretch jersey, ribbed knit, fleece, stretch fleece, sweater knit, terry, waffle knit, thermal, and sherpa.
In our upcycled pieces we will do our best to specify the materials used but they will be sourced from thrifted or discarded garments and will not have the same certifications as our signature designs.
I take pride in my creations and want you to love every piece that you purchase. I will accept returns for store credit on unworn, unwashed, and undamaged pieces in their original condition within 7 days of delivery date for store credit. You will then need to provide tracking for the item within 7 days of return confirmation. Shipping will be your responsibility, and store credit will not include shipping charges. Each piece is described in detail including size to the best of my ability, but I understand that all bodies are different, and pieces may not suit your specific body. If you are not satisfied with the fit, please reach out via email to initiate a return or to discuss alteration options. Please note that final sale items or otherwise stated items are not eligible for returns. If an item is returned with obvious signs of wear or use, including but not limited to scents, stains, pet fur, smoke, etc., the item will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
All ready to ship orders will ship within 7 business days of order being placed. You will receive an email notification with tracking information and shipping to the contiguous US states will include 100$ insurance. You can add more insurance to cover the full cost of your order at checkout. If your order is lost or damaged during shipping, a claim will be filed with USPS, and you will receive the claim information and the insurance payout. Refunds cannot be given for lost or damaged packages. Signatures will be required on all orders, and we cannot issue refunds on stolen packages. All changes to shipping addresses must be sent to our email address and include order number, name, previous address and the address you would like to change to. Please double check addresses when ordering, but we understand that mistakes happen and will check our emails before shipping.
International customers will be responsible for all custom fees without exception.
To best care for your garments and get the most longevity out of them, it is recommended to hand wash in cold water with a PH neutral biodegradable detergent and hang to dry out of direct sun. Machine wash and tumble drying is acceptable but is inherently rougher on garments and may show signs of wear quicker. If you choose to machine wash, always do so with cold water and the gentlest cycle possible. If you choose to tumble dry, it is best to do so on the lowest setting possible. All colors will fade over time. Fiber reactive colors are more lightfast and colorfast than botanical dyes, meaning that they will hold their richness for longer, but will still fade with time. Wear your garments with care and they will hold up. We are not responsible for damages that happen due to wear, handling, or washing practices.
Color variations are intentional and part of the garments. They will be showcased to the best of our ability in product photos but please note that the colors will look different in different types of lighting. This is a natural part of the dyes and not something that we have any control over. If you received a garment that is not what you expected, please reach out in case there was a mistake or you would like to initiate a return.
Alterations, mending and overdyeing will be considered on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee unless the garment arrived with a defect. Please reach out immediately if the latter has happened so that we can resolve it right away. On alteration, mending or overdyeing requests please reach out via email so that we can discuss the associated fees and timelines.
A: Pacha Apparel garments are crafted in a home studio that is scent free and pet friendly, heated by a wood stove. While we take great care to prevent pet fur from being included in your order, due to the pet-friendly environment, there is a small chance a stray hair may occasionally be present. For customers with allergies, we recommend washing your garments immediately upon receipt to ensure maximum comfort. Additionally, you may request an extra wash before shipment if preferred. Our goal is to provide high-quality clothing while being transparent about our studio environment to meet your needs effectively.
